Underwater Camcorder / Video Housings and Still Camera Housings for Scuba Diving, Snorkeling, Kayaking,...

AquaCam EX Universal Camcorder / Video Housings --- CP Series Digital Still Camera Housings --- Accessories

LANC/REMOTE Compatible Camcorders
(for Electronic AquaCam EX Only)

LANC/REMOTE Compatible Camcorders have a 2.5mm mini-plug jack generally marked as LANC, REMOTE, L, or Control-L, or have a new multi-function connector marked as A/V-Remote or A/V Out. Refer to your camcorder or it's owner's manual. Also, Sony has a consumer products website that has current specifications and data on LANC interfaces for most current Sony camcorder models - SonyStyle.com - this is a very good resource! Please note that the standard LANC or REMOTE interface has a different connector than the newer A/V-Remote or A/V Out interface, and they are not physically cross-compatible with each other.

Please feel free to contact us regarding your camcorder's compatibility with the Electronic AquaCam EX. We are willing and able to determine LANC/REMOTE Compatibility for you! You can also refer to the data and guide listing below, but it may not be totally complete or up-to-date. Feel free to contact us about this.

Below is a guide listing of LANC/REMOTE Compatible Camcorder Models (Digital and Analog) compiled from data gathered off the Internet. This list is not totally complete, as new models are routinely being manufactured and some models may have been missed. Always refer to the manufacturer's specifications, user's manual, or the camcorder itself to further verify the presence of a LANC interface, or contact Aquatix for assistance! This listing is in alphabetical / numeric order and Sony camcorders are grouped by Series (i.e. DCR, HDR, and HVR series).

Digital Camcorders with LANC, REMOTE, or A/V-Remote (A/V Out)
Please Note: The models listed represent the first year in production, and subsequent production years of the same model may not be LANC/REMOTE compatible. You should always further verify the actual presence of a LANC interface. Some larger camcorders are not included in the list because they are too large for the AquaCam EX Standard and Custom Housings. Please contact Aquatix if you need assistance.
