Product Description Coolpix Still Camera Housings - These housings are a great value and are designed specifically for Nikon Coolpix digital cameras. They are rated to depths of 130-200 feet (40-60m), depending on camera model, and allow shooting in auto mode or with manual camera controls. By using the camera's flash or a slave flash, the brilliant colors of the underwater world can be restored and captured. With the ability to switch from macro photography to wide angle, these housings give underwater photographers the ability to capture all types of underwater images. In addition to scuba diving, the one-hand operation of shutter release and zoom lens makes them well suited for kayaking, canoeing, surfing, boating, and many other outdoor activities that require protection from water and the elements. Housing Controls - These Coolpix housings typically provide 4 to 5 control buttons for the most critical functions in each Coolpix camera model (P7000/P7100 has all controls). Depending on the camera model, typical camera controls include Shutter Release/Video, Zoom, Quick Review, FlashControl, and more. For Power management, menu options on the camera can be set for automatic sleep mode (power down) timing, and any of the housing controls will restore full power (power up) for LCD viewing and shooting.
